Interior Notes

1 min read

As I was researching and looking at cars over the course of a few months one of the things I really started to focus on was wide variance in the internal materials, specifically in the dash area. It is surprising how many rather expensive vehicles have fairly cheap looking components made from what the industry seems to call "soft touch" plastic. The leather dash and upper door sections with the contrast stitching really adds a quality look and feel to the Giulia. Granted, the extra leather is an option, but it is a much cheaper option than most other vehichles- some requiring the absolute highest trim level to even get it.

The steering wheel is really comfortable with just enough cushioning to make comfortable but still keep a sport feel. And yes, if it matters to people- it does have the racing inspired flat bottom. Have not used much but the heated wheel works really well. Normal controls including the cruise control radar sensitivity are all laid out as you might expect. And finially, it seems trivial but the start button on the steering wheel is kinda cool.
